Orrin Woodward has been a student of Sam Walton's leadership for many years. Mr. Walton, a man with no family wealth, took  on and beat several billion dollar companies in head to head competitin. How did he do it? Simply put, through better leadership practiced over time. While others made excuses, Walton made plan; while others lost hunger, Walton grew in intensity with age; lastly, while others read their press clippling, Walton stayed humble.
